The Pensioners' Luncheon Club

The Pensioners' Luncheon Club has been running in the Village Hall for about 40 years. A kitchen staff of volunteers prepares meals for up to 50 people each Tuesday, at a present cost of 3 per head.
Customers enjoy not only the good food but company and conversation too, as many live alone. Meals are also sent out to those who can't manage to get to the Hall. This service brings a friendly face and and a good meal each week.
Our finances have been aided in recent years by grants from the Rainhill Gala Committee, whose generosity has helped us to defray expenses. We intend to keep costs to a minimum and keep everyone well fed and happy.
Anyone who wishes to join should contact 0151 430 9276.
